Librarians assist on a walk-in basis at the Reference Desk in the Writing and Research Center located on the second floor of the Marvin Library Learning Commons.

Make a research appointment for one-on-one assistance from an HVCC librarian. Appointments require 24-hour advance notice.

Send us your research questions and reference librarians will answer them online. This service is designed to provide brief answers to factual questions or to direct you to resources that can help you answer a more involved question.

We will respond to your question within 24 hours, Monday through Friday. Questions submitted on a weekend or holiday may take a little longer. Sometimes our response will ask you for additional information or clarification of your question.
